Reed have partnered with an exciting, Central Bristol based Travel company that offer their services Internationally. Recruiting for Travel Consultant, joining the business on a full time, permanent basis.
Have you either visited, travelled, lived, or have a passion for Japan and keen to utilise that travel knowledge in an employed capacity? This could be for you.
This is an integral role within the business, providing an outstanding service to new and existing customers. Providing a personal and consultative service to customers, you will be responsible for converting as many suitable enquiries to bookings as possible, creating fantastic trips and offering customer service that exceeds client expectations to ultimately maximise repeat business and personal recommendations.
Although travel experience is a key requirement, you don't need to have worked in a consulting or customer service role. As long as the knowledge and passion is there, the rest can be taught.
You will have the opportunity in this role to travel to your designated destination, to boost your own knowledge and gain insights to support your customers, and your colleagues.
Location: Central BristolHours: Mon - Fri. 9 - 5.30 (Long after training is completed, you'll do 7-8 Saturdays per year, with a day off in lieu in the week)About: Full Time, PermanentBonus: Uncapped - OTE of GBP4,000 year 1, GBP14,000 from year 3
Duties:Chat with both direct and trade customers daily to identify their holiday requirements, in order to create a high-quality tailor-made itinerary for themCommunicate via various methods such as telephone, video call, email, on-site and industry eventsWork towards both individual and collective team targetsInvolved from start to finish on client bookings, which will consist of coordinating, reservations and delivery of a successful tripQuality check of travel documents, ensuring high quality, accurate information is supplied to customersLearn and development your skill set towards customer service, consulting and product knowledge, via the businessUndertake familiarisation visits and inspections in destination countries where required, to boost your own knowledge and share insights gained with your peers and product team.
About you:Experience of living/working/passion for travel, and destinations such as Japan, Indochina, South Korea, Malaysia, Borneo and ThailandCustomer service experienceAbility to work to deadlinesExtremely well organised, and able to juggle workloadsStrong communication skills both written and verbal
