About the role

We'd love for you to join our fun and friendly team of tutors! We are looking for a Japanese-speaking tutor to deliver online or face-to-face tutoring sessions. The student being tutored is in year 9 and is studying beginners Japanese. If the tutor chooses to deliver face-to-face sessions, they will be based in Dulwich, Tulse Hill, Norwood, Sydenham (or surrounding areas) as the student lives in SE21. The tutor will be paid £20 per hour.

ELIGIBILITY:

• Must be able to deliver online or face-to-face sessions- whichever they prefer (REQUIRED)
• MUST have some professional experience working with children e.g. teachers, teaching assistants, tutors, mentors, youth workers etc. (REQUIRED)
• Must be available weekly for 1 hour ideally tutors availability will match with the families' whose preference is Tuesdays or Thursdays between 4-7pm (DESIRABLE)
• Tutor will be a Japanese native or have a formal qualification in Japanese (intermediate level and above is desirable) (IDEALLY)

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: £20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week
