Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling various wooden components for construction projects. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical work, and masonry. If you have a strong attention to detail and enjoy working with your hands, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings - Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood materials according to specifications - Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other wooden fixtures - Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed - Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations - Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time - Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition - Conduct repairs or modifications as required Skills: - Proficient in carpentry techniques and woodworking tools - Knowledge of plumbing systems and installation methods - Ability to work with hand tools such as saws, chisels, drills, etc. - Experience in fabricating and assembling wooden structures - Familiarity with painting techniques and finishes - Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring - Knowledge of masonry work is a plus - Strong attention to detail and accuracy Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Salary: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
