Joiner/Fit-Out Supervisor

On behalf of our prestigious client we have an immediate and exciting opportunity for a Joinery/Fit-out Supervisor.

With a pay rate of up to £20 per hour + holiday pay (PAYE), and premium rate overtime, this is an excellent opportunity for a secure and permanent future with an award-winning manufacturing organisation!

This is a ‘hands-on supervisory role,’ you’ll be required to undertake day-to-day joinery duties together with supervising the team, to ensure maximum levels of quality and efficiency.

Duties/responsibilities:

• Organise, control, and direct the activities of team leaders and operatives
• Prioritising workloads and managing job hours to ensure production/cost targets are met
• Managing time and attendance of the team
• Responsible for monitoring, enforcing and compliance of all aspects of Safety, Environmental and Quality whilst encouraging high standards of adherence and compliance.
• Conduct accident and near miss investigations and close out with the Production Manager
• Co-ordinating with department supervisors and managers to ensure maximum efficiencies
• Ensure all the teams are trained adequately and have read all Risk assessments and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure that all plant, equipment, and tools within the department are maintained, working in conjunction with the Maintenance department and General/Production Manager.

Skills/experience:

• Must have good Joinery experience, ideally in Modular/Anti-vandal
• Supervisory experience
• Own transport
• Excellent leadership and motivational skills
• Quality and improvement driven
