Job Role:Joinery Estimator/Coordinator

They are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Joinery Estimator/Coordinator to join their close-knit office team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in accurately estimating project costs, coordinating with clients and suppliers, and ensuring seamless communication between various stakeholders to facilitate the smooth execution of joinery projects.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse project specifications, and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates for joinery projects, considering materials, labour, and other relevant expenses.
- Collaborate closely with clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive and detailed proposals, bids, and quotations for joinery projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.
- Coordinate closely with production teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and resources, maintaining inventory levels as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, project managers, and production teams, providing regular updates on project progress, timelines, and any changes in scope.
- Conduct site visits or evaluations as necessary to assess project requirements and gather essential information for accurate estimations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in joinery estimation, project coordination, or a related role within the construction or woodworking industry.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, and specifications related to joinery and woodworking projects.
- Strong knowledge of joinery materials, manufacturing processes, and cost estimation methodologies.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in relevant software/tools for estimating and project management is advantageous.
