Our client specialises in engineering services within the construction, civil engineering and infrastructure sectors; they also operate worldwide. Due to the nature of the business, there is a fantastic opportunity for career progression & the chance to work on a wide range of exciting projects. So, if you're an Assistant or Junior Acoustic Consultant who is searching for their next position, then this could be the role for you!
Projects include:
- Crossrail
- Risk monitoring for infrastructure developments.
- Architectural acoustics projects.
- Wind farms.
Daily duties:
- Undertake acoustic surveys.
- Noise modelling analysis.
- Collection and interpretation of data.
- Project management.
- Specialist input at design and review meetings.
- Assist in management of the acoustics team.
- Financial management of projects.
- Business development activities.
Requirements:
- Commercial experience is preferred but not essenital.
- Degree in Acoustics or another relevant discipline (IOA Diploma).
- Member of the Institute of Acoustics.
- Able to work in a client facing role; with excellent communication skills.
