Main Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Regional Buyer in procurement procedures, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Supporting with reporting and fulfilling material and site procurement in line with agreed start dates.
• Managing supplier partnerships to ensure timely placement of orders and resolution of supplier invoice queries.
• Communicating effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Adding value to the overall Commercial function, enhancing your knowledge and understanding of the function.

The Ideal Candidate

• A solid understanding of the housebuilding/construction market.
• Strong financial and commercial awareness.
• Knowledge of current technical and design regulations.
• Proficiency in the COINS (procurement section) system and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong numerical and literacy skills.
