JuniorBuyer based in Middlesbrough, for our client who is a specialist installations business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting team to source high level products and materials. You will play a pivotal part in working towards increase company profits, whilst maintaining the quality of product. Duties as a Junior Buyer:- Sourcing and purchasing goods and services
- Maintaining clear communication between all parties
- Being a point of contact and dealing with suppliers
- Maintaining and developing relationships
- Keeping on top of market trends and pricing
- Negotiating deals and providing support
- Dealing with invoices and queries
- Assisting on other accounts where required
- Handling stock and logistics
- Ensure efficient and uninterrupted supply of products
- Utilise approved suppliers and providers
Requirements: - Experience in a Buyer/Procurement position
- Knowledge of MRP or CIPS qualified (preferred)
- Strong communication skills on all levels
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong organisational skills
- The ability to multi-task
- Good knowledge of the procurement process
To be successful as a
Junior Buyer, you will have excellent customer service skills, with natural rapport building skills and the ability to work within budgets. In return you will receive a salary between £24,000 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus company benefits, working Monday-Friday, with an earlier finish on a Friday.
