Junior Cad Technician

Trainee/Junior Cad Technician is required to join our client based in West Bromwich.
If you are from a construction background or similar looking for a career opportunity within the shop fitting environment to train for a multi skilled position within the drawing office, then this role could be for you.
A well-established interior company committed to delivering flawless construction projects are looking to take on a trainee member of staff to join a multi disciplined drawing office as a trainee/junior CAD Technician.
This varied role will offer training in surveying / design / construction / setting out and manufacture of joinery and shop fitting using the latest Autodesk software.
This role would suit individuals with an interest of working in construction and manufacturing who is experienced in AutoCAD, reporting to drawing office managers.
The Role:
To work and train within the following disciplines:

• 3d laser surveying & plotting
• Setting out and store development layouts
• Bespoke joinery and design
• Electrical and mechanical layouts
• Office upkeep and record keeping.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Fully conversant with 2D Auto Cad. Auto Desk Inventor advantageous.
• Woodwork / wood material / joinery knowledge advantageous.
• Working knowledge of MS office.
• Experience / Interest in construction / joinery and design within the building and manufacturing environment.
• Be open to learn new things and enjoy the learning journey.
• Driver's license.
• Self -manageable & motivated persona.

This a permanent role, days based.
Salary: Up to £25k p/a
