Our client is an international law firm seeking a Junior Compliance Analyst to join their growing team in Leeds. This is a really exciting opportunity for someone looking for a step up into their second compliance opportunity within a law firm.
To apply for this role, you must have a working knowledge of KYC, attention to detail, and ethical standards, and be passionate and enthusiastic about compliance.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Responding to KYC queries
- Evaluating existing clients to understand the nature of the business, ownership structure and risks
- Obtaining information on beneficial ownership
- Carrying out enhanced due diligence checks and escalating high-risk matters
- Investigating negative news findings
- Assessing and addressing KYC issues requiring escalation
- Maintaining the list of PEPs
