Are you someone with skills in Data Analysis, with strong skills in Excel modelling and SQL?
My major client in the financial services industry is looking for someone to join on a contract basis, mostly fully remote, with occasional travel into Coventry.
The ideal candidate will be coming from a financial services background and have been in a role working with Excel Models and SQL, to help with modelling in a treasury team.
The role will be looking at interest rate changes, understanding relationship drivers via modelling and understanding historical data.
Excel modelling and SQL are mandatory for the position.
The team is looking to do the following:
- Bring model governance up to high standard - including user and build documents.
- Gap analysis to PRA model risk regulation, and completion of work to close gaps - PRA S1/23 Model Risk Management Principles for Banks
- Existing models are mainly excel based using SQL code to extract data.
- Models focus on historical customer behavioural analysis and using this to predict future behaviours in changing interest rate environments.
- Development of models that are not dynamic to interest rate changes.
