Junior Design Engineer

We are actively recruiting a motivated Junior Design Engineer to join a busy and established and manufacturing business.

This is a diverse and busy role where you will get involved with the design projects which will modifications where relevant. We use Solidworks as our general design software. This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate MNechanical Engineer seeking a role within a busy environment.

As you develop and have an understanding our products you will be covering the following

• Prepare design drawings using Solidworks.
• Client projects and design management
• Produce general assembly drawings,
• detail drawings and part list BOM schedules (Bills of Materials).
• Produce final build and install drawings.
• Manage a number of jobs simultaneously and working to tight deadlines.
• Work closely with clients to manage their projects
• Give technical support and assistance to our customers at a technical level.
• Site visits will be required - Driving licence needed

You will ideally be educated to Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a high level of experience of Solidworks and component design. placement experience in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial

• Worked in a Manufacturing Environment
• Fabrication design knowledge beneficial
• Automation / Machinery manufacturing beneficial
• Customer facing experience
• Computer literate with MS suite
• Good telephone manner and eye for detail
• Excellent communicator both written and verbally.
• Full Driving licence is essential.
• Ability travel from time to time
• Live within 10 Miles (40 Minutes) of Aldershot
• Not seeking relocators
