An innovative industry leader in plastic injection moulding is looking for a Junior Design Engineer to join their expanding team based in Banbury. Join their driven engineering team and take on a wide variety of design projects using cutting-edge design software and 3D printing technology.
Reporting to the Lead Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing products and providing technical expertise to internal and external customers, suppliers and other third parties.
Junior Design Engineer duties include:
- Design products using 3D Pro-e CAD and render with Key Shot
- Create BOMs and quality drawings, modify and re-issue as needed
- Operate 3D printing facilities
- Obtain supplier models and quotes, manage subcontractors
- Produce manufacturable designs, estimate product quotations, identify innovation opportunities
To be successful in the role of Junior Design Engineer, the ideal Candidate will:
- A Design related qualification
- Experience using CAD or similar design software
- Excellent communications skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- Good problem solving skills
Benefits:
- Base Salary: up to 35,000 depending on experience
