Jaeger is looking for an exceptional softs designer to join their small team, based at the M&S Paddington offices to cover a maternity leave. The ideal candidate will have had experience at high-end or luxury brands. The role requires a creative designer with a feminine handwriting to take ownership of the softs and jersey categories. The ideal candidate will have a strong print and colour aesthetic, as well as superb attention to detail which will be required in weekly fit sessions. The brand is going through a re-set with the new direction launching in Autumn 2025. It is an exciting time to be a part of this growing brand.

What youll do

Your key accountabilities will include

• Work with the Designer to deliver the global product direction for Jaeger
• Take full ownership of part of the range/category and design product under the direction of the Design & Creative Manager (Head of Design) to meet key strategies and price points. Collaborates with the Buying/Technical team to agree the range and create Tech Packs for these designs via PLM
• CADs and Tech packs on Direct via PLM delivering a high hit rate
• Researches from primary resources, as well as trend. Identify and communicate key opportunities.
• Work with the Designers and team to meet critical path deadlines and deliver the right designs, at the right time

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include

• Creative designer with strong research skills and ability to create innovative, new designs.
• Strong design and CAD skills with an exceptional eye for detail
• Strong knowledge of competition and directional brands
• Strong understanding of elevated fabrics, fit and garment make up to ensure product integrity
• Experience in direct design sourced product, working with Technology/Design and Buying to create high standards of CAD and Tech packs
