Junior DevOps Engineer 
My client are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join an established DevOps team in Bristol and support their migration to AWS. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of devops technologies and methodologies.
In this role, you will be working with and learning from two senior DevOps engineers as they migrate their infrastructure from on premis into AWS. Responsibilities will include:

• Writing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform to manage AWS resources
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes
• Scripting tools and processes to increase efficiency
• Monitoring and logging cloud resources
• Diagnosing issues and performance problems

You will also work closely with the DevOps lead to understand business requirements and translate those to technical implementations.
The ideal candidate will have some prior experience in an infrastructure related role along with hands-on expertise with:

• Terraform or other IaC tools
• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions etc.)
• Scripting language such as Python, Bash or PowerShell
• Understanding of Linux systems administration
• Working knowledge of AWS services

This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary between £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience. There will be opportunities for progression into a fully-fledged DevOps Engineer role over time!
