Junior Electrical Project Manager

Junior Electrical Project Manager required for our client, a Brighton & Hove-based Electrical company that specialises in the design, build, and installation of a range of electrical systems within the commercial and retail industries.

Due to expansion, our client is looking for a Junior Electrical Project Manager to join their team and carry out a variety of tasks including the pricing of jobs, tendering of jobs, completion of material/supply lists, communication with internal teams such as procurement, managing on site teams and contractors, and completing client communication from conception to completion.

Our client has opened this role up to both experienced Project Manager's, and candidates who have a background in either estimating, pricing, and quoting electrical products and systems, such as Estimators and Tendering Engineers, or Electricians and Junior/Apprentice Electricians.

The successful Junior Electrical Project Manager MUST have a background within the electrical industry, either as a hands-on Electrician/Electrical Engineer, or in an office-based role completing electrical estimations, quotes, pricing, and tendering. The role will involve training and development from working alongside experienced Electrical Project Managers.

Project Manager Position Requirements

• Working knowledge of building services-related electrical systems
• Previous experience completing electrical quotes, estimations, pricing, and tendering is highly desirable
• Electrical industry experience, either on site or office based
• Based within a commutable distance of Hove
• Happy to travel across the UK where required for site visits/client meetings
• Previous Project Manager/Project Engineer experience highly desirable

Junior Electrical Project Manager Position Remuneration

• Salary £30,000 - £42,000, depending on experience
• Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• 28 day's holiday (20 + bank holidays)
• Full training provided, with clear career progression available
