THE BUSINESS
Our client is the global market leader in the manufacture of wet blasting machinery. They currently export over 50% of their products including blasting, degreasing, washing and wheel refurbishment equipment.
This role is primarily focused on their design-build machines, all of which require one off electrical panels. The ideal candidate would have basic panel wiring skills with the desire to progress their career into basic PLC programming. Any prior knowledge of PLCs would of course be hugely beneficial.
THE ROLE -
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to transition into the world of Controls Engineering. Ideally, you will be an Electrical Technician or an experienced Panel Wireman who is looking to branch out and diversify your skill set.
THE PERSON
* 17th or 18th Edition electrically qualified (preferred but not essential)
* Full UK driving licence is essential
* Knowledge of wiring/designing control panels and the creation of electrical drawings would be beneficial.
* Some minimal understanding of PLC programming would be beneficial but not essential, as training will be given.
