SalaryA Junior Electronics Design Engineer is sought by an established engineering company to join their R&D team.
Working in a busy design and development team you will be responsible for providing PCB designs and manufacturing information and modifying existing designs in line with engineering change processes. You will also evaluate the processes involved with PCB design with an emphasis on value engineering and work with the design team to ensure the seamless integration of finished PCB's into the completed Electronics Design. You will also liaise with suppliers to ensure that PCB requirements are met and analyse the PCB process to see where cost savings can be achieved without compromising quality
The ideal candidate will be HND or Degree qualified with 1-2 years PCB design preferable. Any experience of using software for PCB layout or schematic capture is an advantage. Godo communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well with Design, Project and Manufacturing teams is essential
This is a junior position that would suit a fresh graduate in electronics engineering who has an understanding of, or interest in, electrical / electronics functionality
