AddressWe’re seeking a fast-learning, self-starting Junior Electronics Engineer who is looking to grow across a wide spectrum of electronic disciplines (Digital, Analogue and PSU design) to join our product development team.
You will take a supporting role in development of new exciting products in our IoT gateway and position tracking offerings which are based around MCU's and Linux Single-Board Computers and include a wide range of functionality such as satellite and cellular connectivity, BLE, Wifi, GNSS, Serial Comms, GPIO etc.
You should have at least two years’ experience, and have a growing knowledge of the current best practices, tools and technologies. We need more hands-on-deck to effectively scale our systems to support our growing global customer-base, innovative products and services for new markets and opportunities.
You should be able to work independently and as part of the development team to support existing projects and develop new exciting products and services.
You will be given mentorship from an experienced engineer to help you progress your career in electronics.
The team are based at our Whiteley office. We are very flexible with regard to remote working, but we would like you to be in the office with the team at least half of the time.
Technical requirements
- 2+ years designing and testing electronic circuits incorporating a wide range of technologies.
- Fault finding problem solving skills
- Experience in design for manufacturability and reliability.
- Knowledge of KiCAD would be beneficial.
- Innovative approach to solving design problems.
