Fire & SecurityJunior Engineer - North London

ACL, a specialist business within Marlowe Fire and Security Group, are looking to grow their team with the appointment of a Fire & SecurityJunior Engineer.

Basic Salary £24-25,000 Subject to experience

ACL install and maintain the intelligent building systems that allow our clients to keep the people that rely on them safe from harm and secure their businesses future. Working across our three core service; Fire & Life Safety systems, Security systems, Building Energy Management systems. Our Fire & SecurityJunior Engineers

Maintain, install and commission systems for a selection of key accounts in your designated region. The role will look after a select list of systems on a key account therefore the role will be varied and multi-disciplined

• You will be trained to become an integral part of the existing team, looking after a prestigious sports stadium.
• Our Engineers are given time, support and resource to service systems correctly, with extensive training provided to achieve expert status with our primary systems.
• Systems vary and range from Morley IAS, Cortech Datalog, Advanced, Panasonic, Abloy ARX, Paxton, Texecom, Galaxy.
• The site is a long-term prestigious contract of ACL's, so the works must be completed to the highest possible standard.
• The post holder will liaise regularly with the Clients, Service manager, Contract Manager(s) and all Engineers.
• The role is process orientated, you will be working as part of a small team of engineers within an ISO accredited environment and will need to demonstrate a genuine capacity for process adherence and process improvement

Requirements

Who We’re Looking For

In addition to having all the usual attributes of a great ACL employee, such as; a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, well presented and professional at all times, ability to work alone and as part of a team….. For this opportunity, we are specifically looking for candidates who offer:

• Desired: Experience as a Fire and Security Engineer/Trainee/Apprentice
• Mandatory: Electrically competent; Ideally with some formal training such as an electrical apprenticeship.
• Familiar with windows software systems and practices
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Relevant Qualifications/Experience.
• Full, Clean, UK Driving Licence (or ability to commute daily to North London via public transport)
