Junior Estimator

Our client has experienced significant growth through strategic acquisitions and organic expansion. The group, family-owned since its inception, operates from 40 centres across 36 UK locations and last year had a turn over of £250 million. They pride themselves on the retention of staff and promoting from within.

They are looking for a Junior Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join the team in their Wales offices.

Job Description
As a Junior Estimator, you will support the estimating team by analyzing project requirements, performing take-offs, and assisting in the preparation of cost estimates.

Responsibilities:

Review project documentation and collaborate with senior estimators.
Conduct quantity take-offs using estimating tools.
Research and gather pricing information for materials and services.
Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for bids.
Communicate with team members, vendors, and subcontractors.
Maintain organized project documentation.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Proficient in Excel and estimating software.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Previous experience in construction would be beneficial.

Would suit recent graduate or Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a couple of years experience.
