On offer is the chance to gain valuable experience as an Estimator as well as other commercial duties and become a vital part of an ambitious housebuilder who are thriving despite challenges in the market.
This award winning housebuilder specialise in traditional new build housing developments from concept through to completion. They have a reputation for quality builds ensuring the highest quality is maintained throughout the design, build and handover process. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, they have thrived and outlined a five-year growth plan, aiming to increase their current annual plots by 100. Although they have major growth plans they are determined to commit to their original focus of building prestigious developments. To assist with the current grow plans they are looking for a Trainee or Junior Estimator to join their dynamic team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Estimator who is looking to get hands on training from industry experts working for a company with exceptional benefits and a long terms career history.
You will be office based working alongside the Estimator, you work get hands on training and eventually have your own developments conducting feasibility assessments for projects, producing cost Estimates and providing support to the land and planning teams.
The ideal candidate will have some construction experience or qualification, either a HNC in construction or degree. A candidate with Commercial Assistant experience will also be well suited to this position.
The role

• Junior or Trainee Estimator
• Producing cost estimates for up coming sites
• Assisting land and planning teams with feasibility studies
• Supporting the Commercial teams

The person

• Construction knowledge (HNC, Degree or Commercial Assistant background)
• Ambitious and self-motivated
• Proficient in Excel
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Looking for progression
