Junior Estimator/Trainee Qs

This client based in the Perth area is looking to bring in a Junior Estimator/Trainee QS with the view of developing them within the company.

The Role

To support the Senior QS, Director and Senior Project Managers with pricing, tenders and estimates.

Responsibilities

• Downloading tender documents.
• Issue enquiries to Sub-contractors/Suppliers etc.
• Reviewing & selecting sub-contractor quotations.
• Collation of information and completion of Bills of Quantities.
• Preparation of estimates based off square metre rates/Preparing budget rates etc.
• Collation of Tender Analysis.
• Maintain Sub-Contractor Database.
• Administration & filing tasks for Estimating Team.
• Any other duties required by the Company.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role would be desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, communications and organisation skills.
• Ability to work well to deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure to deliver high quality work in a demanding environment.

Salary- £26-30K
