Hayley Group Limited have avacancy for a Junior External Sales Engineerto work within our well-established and experienced sales team in our King s Lynn branch. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

About the role:

As our Junior External Sales Engineer, you will collaborate closely with an experienced sales team, both internal and external, to nurture and expand our established customer network. This role presents a chance to showcase and market Hayley's comprehensive range of MRO products and services.

Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, including 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Key responsibilities as our Junior External Sales Engineer will include:

  • Preparing quotes for customers based on their individual requirements.
  • Visiting customer sites and building/maintaining relationships whilst identifying on-site opportunities.
  • Processing and raising purchase orders based on customer requests and enquiries.
  • Sourcing prices for products and delivery costs from suppliers.
  • Taking customer enquiries via telephone and email.
  • Using the IT system to accurately identify, source and price items.
  • Recording enquiries, orders, invoices, and other documentation.
  • Providing ad-hoc branch support, including deliveries and collections, as required.

Skills & Attributes we're looking for in our Junior External Sales Engineer

  • Ability to understand and adapt to differing commercial challenges.
  • Excellent organisational and timekeeping skills.
  • Customer- focused, driven to provide consistently high levels of service.
  • Good level of communication and numerical skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Willing and able to learn about and support new products.
