Our client is an innovative company dedicated to maximising the value of waste through their state-of-the-art technology. They specialise in creating renewable energy from waste by treating wastewater. The company aims to reshape the way industrial businesses approach their resources, promoting more sustainable energy generation that is beneficial for both the business and the environment. Our client positions itself as a pioneer in the Waste-to-Energy sector, emphasising economic and environmental benefits through their innovative approach.  We are now is seeking an experienced Junior Field Engineer to join their innovative team. We are specifically looking for an individual with a strong background in mechanical and Electrical engineering, capable of troubleshooting and resolving common issues in EfW/AD/WW processes.

The Junior Field Engineer will play a crucial role in providing O&M support for continuous operations, addressing systems errors on an ad-hoc basis, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. Collaboration with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and customers is vital to developing and maintaining robust engineering and operational systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate small scale Pilot Systems to support ongoing projects
• Undertake planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance activities
• Commissioning of plants and ongoing operational support
• Conduct testing protocols on various systems
• Engage in hands-on problem-solving experiences, particularly with pumps, gas, and water systems
• Travel extensively across the UK to various project sites.
• Stay away from home Monday to Friday as required. 

Qualifications and Skills:

• University graduate or completion of a relevant apprenticeship program 
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in different parts of the UK
• Strong hands-on problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Excellent communication skills 

Key Information:

• Annual Salary £23/27,000.
• Car allowance.
