SalaryMarble Talent Group is currently recruitng for an experiencedField Service Engineer for our client based in Milton Keynes, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Plant Engineer for a dynamic field-based role covering the South and Midlands. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the service, maintenance, and repair of construction machinery.
This role is more a of a junior role, but some experience in the industry is still required, and the rest can be taught through on the job training and external main dealer training courses.
Salary: 28,000 to 32,000 - OTE 40,000

Responsibilities:
Field Operations: Execute on-site service, maintenance, and repair of construction plant machinery in the designated regions.
Diagnostic Expertise: Identify and diagnose faults in a variety of construction equipment, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
Preventive Maintenance: Implement proactive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and extend the life of machinery.
Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients and internal teams, offering insights into machinery functionality and problem resolution.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs, replacements, and maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
Qualifications: Relevant qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in the service, maintenance, and repair of construction plant machinery.
Technical Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues in construction equipment.
Availability: Flexibility to work standard hours (0700 to 1700, Monday to Friday) with the potential for overtime.
Driving License: A valid driving license is essential, as the role involves travel within the South and Midlands.
