Junior Fire & Security Engineer

Marble Talent Group are currently working with a well established company within the fire and security industry.They are seeking a Junior Fire and Security Engineer to join their team in London. The successful candidate will work alongside their experienced engineers, providing technical assistance and support in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire and security systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire and security systems, including alarms, CCTV, access control, and intercom systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire and security systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
• Provide technical support to customers, ensuring they are fully satisfied with the service provided.
• Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used, and ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and filed correctly.
• Attend training sessions to develop and maintain technical knowledge of fire and security systems.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of fire and security systems, including alarms, CCTV, access control, and intercom systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical and electronic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work flexible hours and once qualified be available for emergency call-outs.

Qualifications:

• A relevant qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.
• Industry-specific training and certification will be provided as necessary.
