Based in an attractive village location just outside the city, we're a marketing agency with a strong background in the UK Holiday Park industry and have recently started to serve the B2B, charity and transport sectors with our capabilities covering both offline and online creatives.
If you love WordPress and delivering custom websites, then we want to hear from you! We're looking to hire a talented and enthusiastic Front End Web Developer to help us produce fantastic cross platform optimised websites for a variety of clients.
You'll thrive on technology and have a strong understanding of industry trends and various content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is essential, as is an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment.
What will be required:
* Experience as a WordPress theme developer
* Develop and manage the Front End of our client's websites
* Follow our frontend style-guide
* Frontend skills with knowledge of some, or all of the following, CSS, HTML, PHP (as it relates to WordPress) and Vanilla JavaScript
* Cooperate with UX/UI web designers to match visual design
* Conduct website performance tests and monitor the performance of the live website
* Excellent problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
* Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets
* Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
Desirable
* Experience with Bootstrap frontend framework
* Knowledge or experience with a frontend compiler such as Parcel or Webpack
* Experience of Git, branch management, and pull requests.
* Experience of MySQL, Shopify
