With a rapidly expanding client base, we are looking to hire a Junior FX Migrations Data Analyst with a strong attention detail & proactive approach. This is a great opportunity to join a well established consultancy that can offer training, experience and a chance to work with some of the leading Financial Services business in the UK.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will support the Operations Data Senior Associate and be responsible for supporting the delivery of the global FX migrations to target state technology, both with regards to initial data analysis and investigation, and subsequent data management.

The role will include:

v Analysis of trade data sourced from multiple deal management systems, thus supporting the transition of certain data points to target state technology.

v Validation of data to ensure accuracy, veracity, currency and completeness.

Role Responsibilities:

Analysing source data, primarily trade data, to understand business requirements.

Perform gap analysis to identify target system client data requirements.

Execution of subsequent data quality responsibilities, to ensure that we maintain high quality, clean data by adhering to a strict governance and controls framework.

Partnering with Operations and Technology colleagues to deliver cross-functional team deliverables as part of the global FX Migration plan.

Manual data entry and update of existing data within the firm's master data system.

Requirements

Experience / Competences:

Essential

  • Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, possesses high organisation skills & a proactive approach
  • Extensive Knowledge & proficiency in Microsoft applications software, primarily Excel
  • Demonstrates strong analytical ability and problem solving skills
  • Highly effective written & oral communication skills; adapts communication style to suit audience

Desired

  • Knowledge of financial markets
  • Previous experience in a similar organization
  • Experience with Power Query or similar ETL tooling

Salary - Our standard Belfast salary starting is £23k going to £24k after 6 months and then to £26k after 12 months.
