Our office is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. This position will be to work on projects for Rail transit infrastructures (High Speed, Metro, LRT, streetcars).
The Junior Geotechnical Engineer will contribute to form a key part of a growing geotechnical team. You will work with the Geotechnics Lead to support and grow the team, working closely with the other office disciplines of Rail, structural, civil, infrastructure and bridge engineering as well as independent geotechnical consultancy.
Job Requirements:
- Civil engineering degree or similar required
- 2-5 years of practical experience in Civil & geotechnical engineering
- Design experience and knowledge in geotechnical, excavation works, foundation, tunnelling works, etc.
- Familiar with Engineering Modelling program e.g. Plaxis, SAP2000, Geo Studio, etc.
- Office based in London (3 days per week)
- To work independently and initiative-taking
