Form of workBoomerang have an established presence as an innovative & creative media company. We are looking for a junior Digital Motion and Print Graphic Designer to join our creative department. This is a full time position based full time in our Aldershot office.
The Boomerang creative team are responsible for serving the diverse design, content & artwork needs across the Boomerang group. Work includes but is not limited to web & digital based content creation (such as digital motion creation, group website updates & html emails), designing educational products & marketing collateral for print through to mocking up corporate ad campaigns to assist the sales team.
A general technical proficiency & a capacity to learn quickly is very desirable. Experience & knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects & Wordpress is also advantageous
The current principal design & content tasks are:
- Client personalised content creation (content ranges from digital screen motion design through to printed collateral)
- Boomerang Group brand & marketing collateral for youth & education, health & fitness, cinema & family leisure sectors (brochures, leaflets, stationery, PowerPoint imagery & layout, email footers, web imagery etc.)
- Client advertising campaign mock ups - both existing & new campaign suggestions (mocked up postcards, posters, standees, digital posters etc. created / adjusted & inserted into location imagery as examples)
- Printed product design & development, principally for the educational sector (a range of diaries & other printed collateral aimed at students of all ages - from primary schools through to universities).
- Group website maintenance (image creation / manipulation, copy & layout updates via a simple CMS / uploading etc.). Knowledge of basic CSS/html & WordPress sites very desirable but not essential
