Form of workA great opportunity has arisen for a Junior Designer to work with a successful North Devon agency on an exciting portfolio of brands.
This independent, full service, agency is based in a stunning location and seeking a versatile and talented Junior Designer.
As part of the team this person will assist the creative department with all phases of work including research, concept exploration, design development and finalisation. They are responsible for creating and executing high quality design concepts and maintaining brand continuity. You will work across a wide range of clients, flexing your design skills in sectors such as food and drink, automotive, travel and tourism and much more.
As a Junior Designer, you will collaborate closely with a Senior Designer and Creative Director to produce work of the highest quality. In this role, your creativity and meticulous attention to detail will be crucial.Your primary objective will be to develop impactful designs that effectively represent and promote our clients products and vision.

Responsibilities:
* Act as design guardian for clients’ brands ensuring colour, type and visual equities follow brand standards
* Provide fresh thinking, strong ideas and a high level of craftsmanship acrossall elements of design
* Have a good understanding of the creative process from brief to production
* Organise and maintain design files and master assets as needed
* Maintain the agency’s standards of creative excellence, timeliness and profitability
* Support the team when managing external specialists e.g. illustrators, visualisers, photographers etc
* Help to maintain an atmosphere of inspiration, collaboration and ‘can do’ attitude.
The ideal candidates will:
* Desire to be part of the graphic design world and have already shown an interest in this.
* Have a passion for strong ideas, that answer clients challenges in a uniquely creative way
* Take pride in crafting the finest detail
* Be able to talk passionately and knowledgeably about the work
* A designer who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and clients and is able to take direction
* Hold a degree in graphic design or similar and be aware of key Adobe software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and After Effects)
* Have a passion to learn how to create animation for online ads using (Adobe After Effects)
