Job description

The Junior HSEQ Coordinator will sit within the HSEQ Department and provide a pivotal role in supporting the Company's customer approval process. The primary focus of the role will be to complete customer pre-qualification questionnaires and demonstrate the competence of the company. Alongside this the Junior HSEQ Co-ordinator will be responsible for managing supplier assessments and verification ensuring potential suppliers and subcontractors meet expected standards.
Main Duties:

  • Support the process of completing pre-qualification questionnaires for potential customers ensuring adherence to deadlines.
  • Be the focal point for completing customer pre-qualification and tender HSEQ questionnaires.
  • Provide company HSEQ information/support for tender submissions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors regarding the completion and submission of pre-qualification questionnaires, providing guidance, clarification, and support as needed
  • Review sub-contractor/supplier pre-qualification returns and advise HSEQ Manager of any shortcomings.
  • Evaluate vendor responses to pre-qualification questionnaires to assess adherence to quality management standards, certifications, and best practices (e.g., ISO 9001).Support the HSEQ Manager in conducting external sub-contractor audits as and when required.
  • Ensure that vendors meet regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organisational quality assurance criteria, including environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all PQQs, vendor responses, quality certifications, and related documentation, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Ensure relevant safety information/bulletins are communicated/cascaded throughout the organisation.
  • Maintain awareness of and highlight new techniques for improving H&S and welfare to the attention of the HSEQ Manager


Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in quality, environmental or health & safety management. Additional certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ASQ) are advantageous.
  • Degree not essential if canidate holds NEBOSH or other relevant QHSE Qualification
  • 0-5 years of experience with specific experience in coordinating pre-qualification questionnaire responses.
  • Knowledge and basic understanding in ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, as well as regulatory requirements related to assurance and compliance.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation, and compliance with standards.
