Your Role:
Junior IT Support Engineer - 6 month fixed-term contract

As a key member of our IT team, you will:
Manage Processes: Oversee the starter and leavers process, ensuring a seamless onboarding and offboarding experience for our team members.
System Administration: Dive into system administration tasks and user account management, contributing to the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
Asset Management: Take charge of maintaining, monitoring, and administering our IT assets, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, while keeping meticulous records.
IT Issue Investigation: Be the detective for IT issues, supporting our IT Service Desk in providing swift and effective solutions.
First-Line Support: Provide friendly and efficient first-line support and administration for user requests, fostering a positive user experience.
Collaboration: Work closely with the IT Service Desk and fellow IT colleagues, ensuring seamless coordination of IT services across the Bioscript Group.
Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation for IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides, contributing to a knowledge-sharing culture.
Continuous Improvement: Bring your ideas to the table in team meetings, actively contributing to our continuous improvement initiatives.
Issue Resolution: Efficiently escalate unresolved issues to the IT Manager, ensuring a swift resolution and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What You Bring:
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and Windows operating systems (Win10 and above).
Experience: Previous experience in IT support or customer service is advantageous, coupled with a basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in technology.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Flexibility: Be flexible and willing to perform additional duties as required.
