Junior Lab Tech / Analyst / Tester

Our client, a marketing leader in their specialist field, is looking for 2 Lab Techs / Analysts / Testers to join their growing team due to promotions within the lab. The roles will be lab based and would suit a graduate, or someone with a strong B-tec or A-Levels in scientific or engineering based subjects, ideally with a little lab based experience, who are looking for roles which will kick start their career as they offer an excellent career path.

Suitable candidates are likely to have all or most of the following experience: -

* A relevant scientific or engineering focused education at Degree, B-Tech or A-Level standard (or equivalent) - ideally physics, materials science, mechanical engineering, etc

* Ideally 6 months+ in a Lab based role

* Good communication skills

* Strong desire to learn, gain new skills and progress in your career

* Excellent organisational skills; someone who is methodical by nature and process driven

You will be fully trained on a variety of lab-based physical testing techniques, learning how to perform the tests, how to analyse the results and write relevant test reports, and gain exposure to a huge variety of materials. It is possible you would also get involved with small scale polymer manufacturing.
