Job Description
- With the support of senior Legal Counsel, provide legal advice and support on a wide range of matters, including contracts, compliance, intellectual property, employment law and corporate governance
- Assist senior Legal Counsel in providing legal support across the above areas ensuring they are fit for the future growth of the company.
- Draft and negotiate contracts with business partners, suppliers and customers
- Ensure company wide compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards across areas of your expertise
- Provide general and commercial legal support to projects and businesses within the group. This may include advice on tender proposals, contract drafting, negotiation and review, and specific legal needs
- Work with projects and senior Legal Counsel to resolve ad-hoc legal issues, supporting the Group's Merger and Acquisition strategy
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- Legal qualification in the UK/Ireland
- Minimum of 2 years PQE
- Knowledge of the energy & natural resources industry would be beneficial
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
