Role Overview:
The Junior Mechanical Design Engineer will be integral in designing and developing mechanical systems and products across diverse industries like automotive, aerospace, and renewable energy. This is an office-based role requiring own transport due to the location in Norfolk.
As a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer your key responsibilities:

• Create 2D and 3D models using CAD software
• Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and products
• Support design decisions through research and analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Perform testing and validation of prototypes
• Prepare technical reports and documentation

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Familiarity with mechanical engineering principles
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Own transport due to location
