Junior Merchandiser

Location: West Sussex (near Brighton)

Hybrid: 3 days a week in the office

Salary: 30,000 – 36,000

I am working with a boutique fashion brand who are looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join the team. You will be reporting directly into the Merchandiser and will be responsible for optimising sales and profitability for your department.

The role:

• You will be responsible for the planning and trading of your department and building the strategy alongside the Buying team to optimise sales and profit.
• Be truly customer focused and commercially aware – it will be your job to build a range that has the customer at the forefront.
• Present in weekly trade meetings, sign offs and strategy meetings with total confidence and knowledge of your product area.
• Manage the WSSI and act on any trade decisions that need to be made.
• Carry out weekly and monthly analysis for your department; sales, stock, replen etc.
• Closely monitor the E–Commerce platform, identifying any opportunities for increasing sales and profit.
