SalaryManufacturing Futures is looking to appoint a Junior Metallurgist to work in a company where they can grow and develop their skill set. The ideal candidate will be degree educated (as a minimum) and ideally have 1-2 years industry experience in Metallurgy or Materials Technology. The role is very hands on so experience with machinery is advantageous.

Key responsibilities:
- Develop and improve metallurgical processes in conjunction with customers and internal departments
- Experience of hands on Metallurgy
- Manage, monitor and advice on hot material conversion
- Design and prepare production routes
- Prepare methods of manufacture
- Investigate non-conformance

Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in Metallurgy or relevant Materials Technology discipline
- 1-2 Years Minimum hands-on industry experience
