As a Junior Mobile Applications Developer, you will play a pivotal role in our team's mission to innovate and expand our suite of advanced Mobile Applications. Your contributions will directly impact projects such as AutoMobile, where you'll support the enhancement of our automated plug-and-play testing app, and Beacon, offering 24/7 indoor monitoring. Additionally, you'll be involved in Network Surveyor, aiding in the development of a network testing application, and Aptus, enhancing our AI-powered crowdsourcing SDK to capture diverse network experience data.

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to contribute to Stan, our newest app empowering users as citizen surveyors. Here, you'll refine the app's computer vision capabilities, enhance geolocation and reporting features, and support a platform dedicated to community empowerment and safety. Your role will involve designing and developing new features, as well as refining existing functionalities, within our award-winning software. We seek individuals with strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to quality, and a passion for continuous learning.

You will be part of a collaborative team comprising an experienced lead developer and a dedicated testing team. The team size and structure foster a learning environment where junior developers can gain hands-on experience and guidance from senior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and provide solutions to bugs reported by crash reporting tools and the Service Desk department.
• Collaborate with project managers and designers to define and implement new features.
• Adhere to internal standards, including coding style and development lifecycle.
• Utilise task management tools such as Jira to manage daily and weekly tasks.
• Manage source code and version control using tools like Git, GitKraken, and GitLab

To succeed in this role, you will have

• Passion for programming and a strong foundation in Kotlin.
• Familiarity with Android app development using Jetpack Compose.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic ability to create simple user interfaces and write simple unit tests.
• Capability to follow internal coding standards and development practices.
