A great opportunity for an individual who is either a Junior or Graduate Naval Architect to join an established team in the Poole area. Our clients are long established and are a fantastic business to be part of, offering a service like no other.
As a Junior Naval Architect, you will be involved with the structures, stability, and equipment, supporting existing fleets, and being involved with new constructions.
Key responsibilities as Junior Naval Architect:
- Work in unison with multiple departments including engineering, production, procurement, maintenance, and operations.
- Develop new equipment whilst working on new construction projects.
- Provide innovative practical and cost-effective engineering design solutions.
- Configuration change control of technical documentation
- Offer technical support.
- A RINA-accredited Naval Architecture (or equivalent) engineering qualification equivalent to the England, Wales, and Northern Ireland qualification level 5 as defined by the UK government, or at level 3 or 4 with proven additional experience.
- A positive can-do attitude who can work well within a team environment.
- A demonstrable ability to develop strategies to improve operational delivery.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
