This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena forJunior Node JS Developerwill play a major role with the technical design and development of the company’s technical offerings. The position is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations.

Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):

• Delivering secure, reliable and scalable software, and supporting your team with technical tasks when needed
• Creating and supporting development of backend API
• Solid experience in building azure functions in Node JS
• Will work on QA tools like Postman, SoapUI, etc. knowledge of creating and implementing security features for APIs.
• Helping priorities and direct technical tasks across your team, to balance new and live services
• Design and develop REACT & Azure web applications.
• Delivered fully interactive prototypes with rapid iterations.
• Evaluating and advising on design choices and ensuring that software is high quality and balances technical and business considerations.
• Defining and documenting test cases for new systems and maintaining live systems to ensure ongoing performance.
• Evolving new approaches/solutions with other professions through discoveries, maintaining a focus on development and deployment.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]

• Experience in using Azure insights Must have skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum-based development Experience with test-driven development or behavior
• Azure Functions NodeJS JavaScript and/or TypeScript development experience
• Additional experience related to desirable skills for Developers.
• Solid experience of working with Relational DB with Javascript ORM, preferably Postgres (Sequilize preferred) Architecture based on events (Azure EventGrid, Kafka preferred)
• REST/JSON API creation/usage
• Swagger/OpenAPI3 specification knowledge
• Relational Db (Postgres preferred) with Javascript ORM (Sequilize preferred) Event based architecture (Azure EventGrid, Kafka preferred) Agile/Scrum based development experience Behavior or Test-Driven Development experience.
• Other Azure tools - such as Blob Storage, API-M
• Testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI etc. Experience of designing/implementing security aspects within APIs

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or above in the UK or Equivalent.

Salary:GBP 29000 to 40000 per annum
