A well known, commercial law firm based in the city is seeking a Junior Paralegal, paying up to £26,5000 to support their Real Estate team.
The position will be supporting the more senior paralegals in the team and will be working on post-completion and post-exchange work.
Duties will include the following:
- Provide support to fee-earners in relation to Post-Completion and Post-Exchange matters
- Ensure timelines and deadlines are met and adhered to
- Organise and maintain accurate electronic and hard copy case files
- Coordinate and track completion documents and requisition letters
- Expedite HMLR searches and liaising with HMLR and HMRC as and when queries arise
- Submit OS2 searches, AP1s and SDLTs
- Carry out legal research when required
The ideal candidate will be a law graduate and will have 6 months experience within an office based environment. You will ideally be looking for your foot in the door and your first position in a commercial law firm. Unfortunately the firm are unable to offer a training contract to the successful candidate, but there are other progressional and development routes available.
