Description:
Daily administrative handling of the business’s procurement needs, ensuring all requirements are ordered and in stock in a timely manner. Keeping the procurement spreadsheet updated and monitoring new requirements on a daily basis, raising internal PO’s and keeping logs of all purchases. Actively looking for cost savings opportunities throughout the business and reaching out to suppliers on a regular basis to negotiate new and better pricing. Assisting the Buyer on any tasks required from stock ordering to logistics bookings.
Responsibilities:
- Daily administrative upkeep of the internal PO system.
- Daily purchasing of all internal raised PO’s.
- Communication with internal and external teams as needed.
- Reporting of any issues to the Buyer or Supply chain lead
- Actively looking for cost saving opportunities.
- Stock checks and management of applicable factory consumables, ensuring factories do not run out of core consumables.
- KPI and OKR monitoring.
- Weekly Spend and Cost saving reporting with Supply Chain Lead.
- Basic supply chain & stock management cover.
Experience:
Experience in a previous administrative or purchasing role preferred but not essential
