About the Role
The Junior Product Compliance Coordinator sits within our Product Technical and Compliance team - this team ensures the safety, quality and legality of all the products we sell.
You’ll be working closely with stakeholders to ensure the compliance of products sold on our webshop, for both own brand and branded items. The role is essential in helping manage our due diligence, as well as supporting other projects within the wider team.
The position is a fixed-term contract until 30th September 2024.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to the technical compliance manager in ensuring all Ocado Retail suppliers, operational and 3rd party sites are compliant
- Management of administration tasks
- Day to day management of supplier approval and product setup through BOX and RMS
- Day to day management of technical escalation of customer complaints,
- Issue product recalls and/or withdrawals as directed by members of the Product Technical and Compliance department.
- Provide support for internal quality and safety investigations.
- Lead on customer complaint management and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement projects on customer complaints management, reporting, tracking and trending
- Lead operational relationship between team and Customer Hub
- Responsible for creating and maintaining KPI reporting
- Deputise for colleagues as required
- Following training be part of the on call rota for out of hours incidences
- Assisting with wider Own Brand, Technical and Compliance projects as required
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and web-based systems
- Able to establish root cause and implement corrective actions where necessary
- Adaptability within a fast growing company environment
- Focused on quality, accuracy and attention to detail
- Highly organised and self-motivated
Desirable
- Some compliance experience within the food industry
- Manufacturing and retail experience
