Salary Position Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Korean speaking Junior QA Tester to join us on a 6 Month Contract basis. This role forms part of the Mobile Quality Assurance UK (MQA UK) team located at the Staines, Surrey office, which perform diverse functions for Samsung’s Mobile Division in development of Mobile devices. MQA is part of the SQE (Software Quality Engineering) team responsible for the operation of UAT and Automation.
The ideal person will be a degree holder with a keen interest in building their career in the area of mobile phone technologies.
We are looking for someone who is available immediately.
Role and Responsibilities
The main tasks you are expected to perform include, but are not limited to:
- Quality assurance end user testing on Samsung Products
- Build automated tests to support our continuous deployment environments using the technology of choice
- Defect Management - Raising and managing software related issues
Skills and Qualifications
Essential skills are:
- Expertise in mobile phone technologies
- Korean in both writing and speaking (Korean Roaming Mobile)
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent work experience
Desirable skills include:
- Experience with QA testing
- Experience and knowledge in 3G/4G/5G Networks and applications infrastructure
- Automation script writing and executing
Contract type: 6 Month Contract (inside IR35)
Location: Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey, UK
Hybrid Working: You will be required onsite 5 days a week for the first 4 weeks of employment for training purposes. After that, you can work 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home weekly if preferred.
