SalaryA large engineering company on the outskirts of Ipswich, Suffolk are currently recruiting for a Junior Quality Inspector to join their growing team.
This is a Temporary - Permanent position for the right person and will be paying between 12 - 14 per hour, depending upon experience.
Overview:
As a Junior Quality Inspector, your main responsibility will be to ensure that products meet specific quality standards and regulatory requirements.
What does the position entail:
Testing & Inspection of products using specialist equipment and tools to ensure that the products are safe for use
Work closely with engineers to develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures
Maintain detailed records of inspection results including measurements
Evaluate the quality of incoming materials and components from suppliers
Candidate Requirements:
Will come from a Technical & Engineering background
An NVQ/Diploma or equivalent in Engineering or similar is required
Proficient user of Microsoft Office
Ability to work well individually and within a team
Must be able to read from technical drawings
Good user of inspection tools and equipment
