Junior Quantity Surveyor Required
Based Head Office - Biggin Hill with occasional travel to site.
Permanent Role
Salary Negotiable based on experience.
We are currently recruiting for a Junior Quanity Surveyor to join our Construction Logistics Business on a Permanent basis due to growth.
This role would suit either a Graduate level QS looking for first role or someone with 1-2 years experience.
Role will be reporting into Quantity Surveyor level.
What we are looking for
• A Junior Quantity Surveyor either graduate level or up to 2 years experience in Construction..
• Monitor project costs, track variations, and assist in the preparation of cost reports to ensure financial viability

Contract administration- tracking contract progress, collating Extension of Time claims Conduct regular reviews of ongoing projects, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
* Actively participate in problem-solving activities, identifying and addressing issues that may arise during construction projects, and facilitating dispute resolution.
* Maintain accurate records of project-related documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence. • *Qualifications and Experience
Must haves:
* degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is preferred
* knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* High level of IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel).
