Established over 10 years' ago, this construction company specialise in a full range of repair and maintenance services. They provide their service in a variety of sectors including residential, commercial, and retail. Their high-quality service has resulted in them winning new contracts and retendering of their existing contracts. They are now looking to add to their dynamic workforce with and ambitious Junior Quantity Surveyor who is looking to progress their career.
In this role you'll be expected to visit sites alongside the Contracts Manager. You will be guided by senior members of staff and will be responsible for surveying projects and completing pricing works including, tenders, subcontractor packages, submitting bids and budgeting, cost management of materials and ensuring projects run to specification and budget for the client.
Therefore, the ideal candidate will have 1 - 2 years' experience within the construction industry. You'll be expected to use your experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage the commercial elements of their service.
This role will be a great opportunity for an Assistant or Junior Quantity Surveyor looking to join a growing family-owned business, where you will have great opportunities for development with their training courses and the ability progress through the company.
The Role:

• Assistant or Junior Quantity Surveyor with some experience within the construction industry
• Working on repair and maintenance projects in residential, retail, and commercial sectors
• Working within the commercial team
• Office based with site visits

The Person:

• Assistant Quantity Surveyor with some construction experience
• Team player, confident and has strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Excellent IT skills
• Commutable distance from Bristol
