Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our high-end residential projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for residential construction projects.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis, including materials, labour, and overheads.
- Collaborate with the project team to monitor and control project costs.
- Assist in the procurement process, including preparing tender documents and evaluating contractor bids.
- Support in the preparation of progress reports and financial forecasts.
- Participate in on-site visits and inspections to assess project progress and identify potential cost variations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project-related financial transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of construction contracts and regulations is a plus.
- A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
